Continuing tenured and tenure-track faculty, beginning in their second year, are eligible for the 2013-2014 CFA Continuing Internal Faculty Research Grant. The CFA Continuing Internal Faculty Research Grants are given in support of original scholarship (e.g. research, writing, creative work). Preference will be given to projects that will prepare the faculty member to pursue ongoing or more complex work, and/or to fund work that is a good prospect for future external grant support.
Please follow the grant application procedures paying careful attention to key dates. Proposal must be signed by the Chair before the applicant submits it to the Dean. Submission of applications to the Dean will be accepted up to the deadline date, January 11, 2013. Should you not be able to download or print out the application from the website, please contact the Budget Manager, Blanca Pauliukevicius at 310-568-6218, blanca.pauliukevicius@lmu.edu for assistance. Applications that are incomplete, late, or do not conform to the printed guidelines and instructions, will not be accepted or considered by the CFA Faculty Affairs Committee. Application materials must be clipped together – do not staple them. If you have any questions about the application procedure, please contact Interim Associate Dean, Professor Judy Scalin, jscalin@lmu.edu or at 310-338-2992.
