JongHwa Lee, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of
Communication Studies. Dr. Lee is a scholar of contemporary rhetorical
theory with research interests in militarism and war crimes against
women, the rhetoric of human rights and human wrongs, scholarship and
activism, and tourism and globalization.
Dr. Lee has published
articles on Japanese Military Sexual Slavery, and he was the chief
organizer of the World Conference on Japanese Military Sexual Slavery.
Dr. Lee teaches classes in communication theory, tourism and
cross-cultural communication, and communication campaign for human
rights.
He holds a B.A. from Kei-Myung University, an M.A. from
San Jose State University, and a Ph.D. from Ohio University. Dr. Lee
joined LMU in 2004.
