Students in the Communication Studies Department work with an outstanding faculty to understand and appreciate the role that communication plays in helping build local and global communities that are based on fairness and equity. The overall goal of the program, which is informed by critical and philosophical perspectives, is to help students become effective communicators who will use their knowledge and skills to enjoy satisfying personal and professional lives, while helping to make a more socially just world.
