Marital and Family Therapy With Specialized Training in Clinical Art Therapy
Welcome to the Department of Marital and Family Therapy
with specialized training in clinical art therapy!
Our students are trained to integrate their art backgrounds and use art processes to provide psychotherapeutic services to clients, including children, adolescents, adults and families. The training fully prepares students to become practicing marital and family therapists skilled at integrating art processes in their work as psychotherapists.
Fall, 2010 Application Dates:
Priority Application Date: January 4, 2010
Applicants who submit complete applications by January 4, 2010 will receive priority consideration in interview scheduling.
Recommended Application Date: February 8, 2010.
Applications received after February 8, 2010 may not be considered for Fall 2010.
Art Psychotherapy: A One-Day Workshop
Through case presentations and an art experiential session, the faculty of the Department of Marital and Family Therapy will introduce interested persons to the field of art therapy and LMU's graduate program in Marital and Family. This one-day workshop is scheduled for Saturday, December 12, 2009.

Space is limited and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis by receipt of the registration form and check.
