  • Percussion

Private lessons in these areas are provided at no additional cost.
Students in these lessons perform each semester in a Performance Studio Class and for a faculty Jury. Students can also be elected to perform in the Student Soloist Recital. [Vocal and Instrumental Studies students perform a 50-minute Senior Recital as part of their concentration.]

One of the following upper-division concentrations is chosen by the junior year:

  • Theory/Composition
  • Music History/Literature
  • World Music
  • Instrumental Studies (continued emphasis on performance)
  • Vocal Studies (continued emphasis on performance)
  • Instrumental Conducting
  • Choral Conducting

These specialized studies lead to graduation with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music.
