Graham Beckel made his Broadway debut in Preston Jones’ “A Texas
Trilogy”. He was a member of the Obie winning cast of Chris Durang’s
“The Marriage of Bette and Boo” at Joe Papp’s New York Public Theatre.
He has worked extensively in New York and regional theatre. Graham’s
film credits include “L.A. Confidential” playing Russell Crowe’s corrupt
partner, Stensland, “Leaving Las Vegas” and “Lieberstraum” both
directed by Mike Figgis and “Bullworth” directed by Warren Beatty.
He
was Martin Lawrence’s foolish commanding officer in “Blue Streak” and
the Commander of the Navy in “Pearl Harbor”. Other film credits include
Bruce Robinson’s “Jennifer 8” and Clint Eastwood’s “True Crime”, the
Polish brother’s “Astronaut Farmer” and “Northfork” as well as Ang Lee’s
“Brokeback Mountain”. He made his film debut playing Ford in James
Bridge’s classic account of the first year at Harvard Law School, “The
Paper Chase”.
