For the sixth consecutive year, LMU’s cohort of graduate Marital and Family Therapy (MFT) and Art Therapy students have proportionally received more MFT State Stipends awards than any other school in the Southern California region. This year, our students received nine stipend awards in total.
Both the California Department of Mental Health and Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health select graduating students to receive post-graduate stipends in the amount of $18,500. Stipend recipients go on to work in public mental health providing culturally-sensitive and linguistically-capable services to at-risk populations served by public mental health clinics.
Congratulations to the selected LMU students on their accomplishment in this highly competitive process!
