Revitalization of Strub Theatre

Rendering of a revitalized Strub Theatre.

Located in the iconic Foley Building in the heart of upper campus, Strub Theatre is currently the only mainstage playhouse for all Theatre Arts and Dance program productions. Designed in 1964 by master architect Edward Durell Stone, the theatre is a 30’ x 40’ proscenium arch style playhouse with a 176-seat capacity. With two to three mainstage Theatre Arts productions and two Dance concerts performed in Strub every year, the planned physical transformation for this space is vital for growth, expansion and innovation.
