Students in LMU's Theatre Arts major are encouraged to develop an appreciation of their unique self and the broader universality of the human experience. The major offers comprehensive coursework and hands-on training in acting, directing, musical theatre, design, theatre technology, playwriting, history, and criticism. Coursework is oriented toward a professional career in the arts or entertainment and students have opportunities for individual research and creative projects for their senior theses.
