Dance Education Career Catapult Initiatives (CCI)

An LMU dance education student posing for a photo with a student in Panama.

If you elect to follow the Dance Education CCI, an exciting selection of opportunities will open up that will provide real-world teaching experience and contact hours in the classroom. Experiences include teaching Common Core themes using renown choreographer, Bill T. Jones’s, dances and choreographic methods through our Community Dance Project. You will have opportunities to join the national organizations of NDEO (National Dance Education Organization) and Movement Exchange, and participate the annual service trip to Panama, as well as special consideration for the full fellowship to the esteemed DEL (Dance Education Laboratory) Summer workshop in New York City.
