Whether you're a first-year applicant or a transfer student, we invite you to experience the energy, creativity, and community that define LMU Dance. Our in-person and virtual events are designed to give you an authentic glimpse into our program, faculty, and student life.
We believe the best way to truly understand LMU Dance is to visit us in person or online—meet our inspiring faculty, connect with current students, and explore our beautiful campus. If you're able, we highly encourage you to schedule a visit. Dance-specific tours are offered on Mondays and Fridays, led by current LMU Dance students.

LMU Dance Intensive – Fall ’26 Schedule & Information
Spend a full day on campus experiencing LMU Dance through classes, performances, and conversations with faculty and current students. Students who miss school to attend may request an excused absence letter after registering by emailing our Director of Commercial Dance and Recruitment Geri Brown, at Geraldine.Brown@lmu.edu.

9:00 AM – Check-In, Dunning Courtyard (outside Murphy Recital Hall)
10:00–11:00 AM – Welcome & Introductions
11:15 AM–12:15 PM – Class 1 & Parent/Guardian College Audition Presentation
12:20–1:20 PM – Lunch (vegan & gluten-free options available) & LMU Dance Student Q&A
1:30–2:30 PM – Class 2
2:40–3:40 PM – Class 3
4:00–5:00 PM – Dance-Specific Campus Tour
5–5:30 PM – LMU Dance Gift Shop
Stay for our Fall Concert and envision yourself as part of LMU Dance. Join us that evening at 8 PM to experience our students performing original works and repertory by guest artists Monika Felice Smith, Ladies of Hip Hop, Kyle Abraham / A.I.M., and Gallim. The concert also features choreography by LMU Dance faculty Nicolette Alberti, Roya Carreras, Brandon Juezan-Williams, and Willy Souly. Ticket details will be released shortly.

Comfortable, movement-friendly clothing
Hip Hop & Jazz Funk: Sneakers
Jazz: Jazz shoes
Contemporary: Barefoot or turners
Feel free to bring layers and water and snacks to stay comfortable throughout the day
