Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company Educational Partnership

In 2015, LMU’s dance program and the world-renown Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company launched a bicoastal Educational Partnership linking the two institutions. For nearly a decade, LMU Dance and the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company have come together through various annual engagements, putting students in direct contact with one of the greatest artists of our time – Bill T. Jones – as well as his body of work, his Company, and the New York institution he has built, New York Live Arts. With both LMU Dance and the Jones/Zane Company committed to the idea of art as a form of social action, this one-of-a-kind Educational Partnership gives students access to the most impactful artistic-research practices and opuses that have woven our cultural fabric.
