Meet De'Leah
De’Leah Coleman is a New Orleans born, Houston raised dancer who has trained in the styles of contemporary, jazz, tap, modern, hip-hop, krump and freestyle. She grew up dancing competitively in her early years, but has now shifted her focus to commercial dance. In her time at LMU, while working towards a degree in Health and Human Sciences with a minor in dance, De’Leah has been a member of the LMU Spirit Squad as well as a leader of the hip-hop dance crew Kuumba. While dance is her first love, De’Leah considers herself to be an all-around artist who enjoys not only dancing but videography for dance as well as singing and music creation. She hopes to pursue a career as a working dancer in live performance, tour, and music videos, while simultaneously feeding her other passions in the arts.
