Meet Chelsea
Chelsea Cooper is a commercial dancer and teacher located in Los Angeles, California. Her work is rooted in her African American heritage and is heavily influenced by popular culture. During high school she received training from The Rage Entertainment Complex in Granada Hills, where she also danced competitively. She enrolled at Mather Dance Company, where she completed the Bridge into the Industry training program in 2022 gaining experience as a performer, both on stage and camera. She currently trains in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. Chelsea is expected to complete her undergraduate degree in 2024 at Loyola Marymount University, where she has earned scholarships to further her dance education in an academic context. She is currently represented by Clear Talent Group. Post-grad she is excited to continue her dance career, with a focus on live performance.
As an artist, Lex is driven and unique, always ready to take any challenge that comes her way head-on. As a performer, she loves storytelling and exploring every side of her artistic expression, regardless of its unconventionality. In the coming years, Lex plans to pursue industry dance full-time. She looks forward to working with artists and creatives on live performances, music videos, and all other opportunities that accompany industry dance. Later in her career, Lex seeks to expand her artistry by teaching dance and working behind the scenes as a creative director.
