Clinic Leadership Biographical Sketches
Jessica Bianchi, EdD, LMFT, ATR-BC | Clinical Director
Jessica Bianchi is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Board Certified Art therapist, Assistant Professor at Loyola Marymount University, and the Clinical Director of the Helen B. Landgarten Art Therapy Clinic. Having received her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Social Justice as well as her master’s in Marital and Family Therapy/Art Therapy from LMU, Jessica has developed a specialized skill set that integrates concepts from art therapy and education as a way to promote social justice and community activism amongst diverse populations. Jessica thrives on collaboration and has facilitated numerous therapeutic arts services within a multitude of contexts including residential group homes, outpatient clinics, K-high school settings, medical centers, and federal correctional institutions. In addition to directing the HBL Art Therapy Clinic and teaching at LMU, Jessica provides consultation and professional development on the topics of art therapy, trauma informed educational practices, and arts and social emotional competencies as well as providing clinical services in her private practice where she serves adults, couples, and young people experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and trauma.
Naomi Tucker, LMFT, ATR-BC | Assistant Director
Naomi Tucker, LMFT ATR-BC is a board certified art therapist, supervisor and senior lecturer at LMU. Naomi joined the HBL Art Therapy Clinic in 2010 and is currently the HBL ATC Assistant Director. Naomi has facilitated therapy in a variety of settings in Los Angeles, Mexico, and online, including residential treatment, in-home, in-school, day treatment, and private practice. In addition to art therapy, Naomi incorporates tools including Brainspotting, Mindful Self Compassion and Internal Family Systems-inspired “parts” work. Naomi maintains an online psychotherapy practice for clients throughout the state of California who are facing anxiety, depression, grief, transitions, trauma and challenges in career, creativity, and relationships. She also provides consultation to agencies and art therapy supervision to graduates of LMU.
Kathleen Fogel-Richmond | Practicum Coordinator
Kathleen Fogel-Richmond is the Practicum Coordinator for LMU's program. She is a 1995 graduate of LMU's art therapy program, and was an art therapist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Century City Hospital, Mission Community Hospital and Inter-Community Child Guidance Center where she specialized in working with older adults and their families, pervasive mentally ill clients, and abused children. She has supervised LMU students in their practicum since 1996 and has taught several courses.
Devika Parmar | Graduate Assistant
Devika is a first-year student in the two-year MFT/Art Therapy program and currently works as a graduate assistant for the HBL Art Therapy Clinic. She holds a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing and entrepreneurship from Seattle University. Prior to starting at LMU, she worked as a coach at a digital CBT startup, Joyable (now Ableto), that provides digital therapy programs for social anxiety, generalized anxiety, and depression.
Genia Young, LMFT, ATR-BC I Lead HBL ATC Clinician
Genia Young is a Board Certified Art Therapist and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds Master’s degrees in Marital and Family Therapy Specializing in Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University and in Developmental and Educational Psychology from Boston College. Genia is an art therapy supervisor for first and second year graduate students and a member of the department's Active Explorations Committee. She also provides clinical art therapy services and art therapy supervision in both her private practice and through the Helen B. Landgarten Clinic at LMU. In addition to her private practice, she facilitates art therapy groups for an intensive outpatient program. She previously worked with children and families impacted by trauma as a counselor and clinical supervisor for Cedars-Sinai’s schooled-based program. Genia currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Southern California Art Therapy Association (2018-2021).
Amber Cromwell, LMFT, ATR-BC I Clinical Supervisor and Summer Arts Workshop Project Director
Amber L Cromwell, LMFT ATR-BC is a board certified art therapist, arts educator and mental health advocate. Amber has a passion for arts equity and has collaborated with several non-profits to increase engagement with the healing arts. She recently followed her passions in advocacy to the realm of consulting with school districts to increase social and emotional learning by way of creative expression. Amber honed her clinical skills and her alliance to a social justice perspective working in a variety of settings including youth and teachers in LA Unified School District, community outpatient, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, residential treatment, and programs for incarcerated individuals and impacted friends and family. Amber is clinical supervisor in the Helen B Landgarten clinic as well as the director of the Summer Arts Workshop. Amber maintains an online practice where she treats adults.
Clara Konzevik, LMFT, ATR-BC I Clinical Supervisor
Clara Konzevik is a licensed MFT and a board-certified Art Therapist. Clara graduated from the MFT/Art Therapy program at LMU in 2009 and has worked as a clinical supervisor for different agencies, including the Helen B. Landgarten Art Therapy clinic since 2012. She has also provided art therapy supervision for students of The MFT/Art Therapy department at LMU, and collaborated with the Instituto Mexicano de Psicoterapia de Arte (IMPA) Clara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from the Universidad Autonoma de Mexico, and has experience and training working with trauma in community mental health settings as well as in private practice.
Melly Trochez, LMFT, ATR I Clinical Supervisor
Melly Trochez, LMFT, ATR is a clinical supervisor for the past two years and has dedicated the last 10 years to community based mental health. She is most passionate about working with our immigrant populations and vulnerable communities, including at risk youth and hopes to someday work with incarcerated adults. Melly is also a painter and continues her artistic practice in Los Angeles, most recent art endeavors include being a co-founder of Quiet Please Pop Up and exhibiting works in various galleries. Currently, she is working at 5 Acres as a clinical case supervisor for TBS and working as a contracted supervisor for Ascenia along with providing Art Therapy for families facing homelessness.
Kellee Kemp, LMFT, ATR I Clinical Supervisor
Kellee Kemp is a Los Angeles native, dedicated to empowering communities of color. She is a double alum of Loyola Marymount University where she obtained her BA in Urban Studies and MA in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Art Therapy. As a first-generation American, she has always felt it was her duty to support the work being done by communities of color. Kellee is dedicated to social justice and passionate about empowering marginalized communities from within. This desire has taken her internationally to support various humanitarian projects in Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Belize, and India. Locally, she has worked closely with organizations addressing literacy, poverty, and mental health disparities in Watts, Compton, Boyle Heights, South Los Angeles, and Long Beach. Kellee, currently provides supervision, develops and facilitates trainings, develops retreats dedicated to uplifting Black women, and has a private practice focused on providing attuned and affirmative therapy for people of color.
Jillian Luz, LMFT, ATR I HBL ATC Clinician
Jillian is a Marriage and Family therapist licensed in CA, NM, and RI and is a Registered Art Therapist specializing in trauma, anxiety, and grief/loss. She primarily works with individual adults and older adolescents, often implementing art therapy and EMDR treatment to support healing. She is passionate about supporting clients who experience chronic medical illness and currently facilitates group Art Therapy and workshops for cancer patients and survivors, through a collaboration between the Helen B. Landgarten Art Therapy Clinic and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She completed her graduate studies at Loyola Marymount University in 2016. She also has specialized training in supporting First Responders. She gained clinical experience through working in Los Angeles-based community mental health prior to developing her private practice in 2018. She is a member of professional organizations CAMFT, AATA, and EMDRIA.
Nicole Sylvia Imhof, LMFT, ATR I HBL ATC Clinician
Nicole Sylvia Imhof is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Art Therapist, Infant Family Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist, and a Clinician at the Helen B. Landgarten Art Therapy Clinic. Nicole graduated in 2015 from Phillips Graduate Institute with an MA in Psychology with emphasis in MFT and art therapy. Most of Nicole’s clinical experience has been in community mental health agencies and nonprofits. Currently, Nicole works with the Cedars Sinai Share & Care program offering group support to students in schools and incorporating art experiences. At the LMU HBLATC, Nicole works as a clinician providing group therapy for people who have had a cancer diagnosis and providing art therapy supervision to LMU students who choose to help facilitate the Open Studio groups.
