Juarez is the research specialist for the African American Art History Initiative at the Getty Research Institute. Phillips is Senior Curator, Head of Exhibitions, and Head of Modern and Contemporary Collections at the Getty Research Initiative. Peabody is the Head of Research Projects & Programs at the Getty Research Institute.

Four LMU students join us for a discussion about their experiences as Getty interns. White worked on the Los Angeles African American Historic Places initiative. Jones explored oral histories of prominent Black artists as a Curatorial Department and Research Programs and Academic Outreach intern. Riter compiled scientific research for the Information Center. Camacho worked with Teen Programs under the Education department.

Huynh is a Los Angeles-based artist and educator whose practice is primarily in drawing, painting, and public art.

Professor Archie Boston is a nationally known art director, designer, writer and educator who has operated Archie Boston Graphic Design since 1972.
