LMU Guitar Ensemble

The LMU Guitar Ensemble provides the opportunity for classical guitarists to stretch their technical skills while developing high level artistry in a chamber music setting. The LMU Guitar Ensemble performs for both formal and informal departmental and university and community events. The class culminates with a group performance and may include other performances (e.g. studio class.)

Requirements

Guitar Ensemble is open to Music majors, minors, and other LMU students with a classical guitar background with instructor consent. Anyone with previous experience playing classical guitar who wants to continue playing in a group setting; music is primarily composed, not improvised.
