We Welcome You!
LMU Music Department ensembles are open to all members of the LMU community, and are a wonderful way for vocalists and instrumentalists to pursue their interest in music through participation and performance in a low-pressure, fun environment.
We welcome all students from all majors and a variety of experience levels, as well as LMU faculty, staff, alumni and neighbors to join one of our many voice or instrumental groups.
Please note that auditions may be required prior to registration. Auditions for our ensembles are held on the weekend before and during the first week of classes each semester, and on a case-by-case basis depending on the ensemble. Selected ensembles do offer small scholarships to some of their members based on audition and/or participation in the group.

Ensemble Concerts
Performances are regularly scheduled for each of the ensembles each semester. Some of the ensembles take their performances off-campus to share their music with audiences throughout Los Angeles, California, as well as across the United States and internationally.
