Alexandre Akhavein is a bi-coastal actor born in Connecticut. He comes from a multi-cultural home with a Persian father and French-American mother, and attended French school for the majority of his education. He speaks French fluently, and is proficient and conversational in multiple romance languages.
Growing up, Alexandre was always performing plays for his whole family during every holiday, creating the costumes and writing the script; he knew he wanted to be a creative since he could crawl. Alexandre participated in local theater from an early age, and was part of every vocal group he could participate in throughout his whole education. In his teenage years, Alexandre participated in various plays, musicals, and short films, and performed in a capella, gospel choir, and chorus. He took on roles such as Mitch Mahoney in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Eric in Runaways. He has participated in both theater and film acting, and has a deep understanding of all facets of set life, having worked on over 35 film sets.
After moving over 15 times, in and out of the country, Alexandre decided to settle in Los Angeles, CA, where he is currently pursuing his BA in theatre arts at Loyola Marymount University. He is headed to Drama Studio London in the fall to receive his MA in acting, but plans on being based in Los Angeles, and participating in LA film acting during his time in conservatory. Alexandre has been lucky enough to take classes that delve into not only film acting, but also voice acting and stage combat, and plans to take these skills with him into the acting world. When he is not acting, Alexandre enjoys photography, painting, thrifting, and traveling, and he can’t wait to kickstart his professional acting career.
