A Milwaukee, WI native, Lindsay Nelsen is currently completing her final year studying theatre arts at Loyola Marymount University and plans to stay in Los Angeles as she enters the industry. Her love of performing began at age six when she played Young Cosette in Les Misérables at the local high school. She has loved music since a very young age when she began to play the violin. This soon turned into a passion for singing and musical theatre.
Growing up in a booming theatre town, Lindsay is proud to have originated many roles in World Premiere productions at First Stage Children’s Theater. She is grateful for her theatrical roots and is eager to deepen her exploration in acting in front of the camera. Her favorite roles at LMU include Michaela in Elemeno Pea, and Meredith in 5 Women Wearing the Same Dress. She has been studying voice for 10 years and has a passion for using her voice to better our world.
In addition to performance, Lindsay enjoys skateboarding, playing tennis, and road tripping around California with her friends. She also works part time as an Event Planning Assistant with the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival and she thrives off of watching women gain their ultimate power in the arts. While she misses her cheese curd and dairyland roots, Lindsay is beyond excited to enter the world of film and television doing what she loves most.
