Iago Lashua is 21 years old and has been performing for nearly a decade. Originally from Las
Vegas, Nevada, Iago grew up surrounded by talented performers and acrobats due to him being born into a circus family. Growing up seeing circus performers up close, Iago was inspired to take the stage himself, just with less trapeze bars and back handsprings. Being Puerto Rican is also a large part of Iago’s identity and he loves to share his culture and heritage in his work. He has acted in productions for LMU’s Theater Department including Exit the King as Guard and Fuente Ovejuna as Commander Guzman. He is also the president of LMU’s longest running improv team Laser Squad Bravo. Iago has also starred in numerous student projects at the LMU School of Film and Television, including award winning short films at national and international film festivals.
