Mateo Gonzalez

Mateo Tomas Hercules Gonzalez is a 22-year-old actor and playwright who escaped from Eagle Point, Oregon. Raised in a Mexican-Cuban household, Mateo grew up surrounded by amazing storytellers who could depict how chaotic and beautiful the world can be. He views acting as his way of continuing to tell these stories through the characters he portrays. Moving to Los Angeles has allowed him to improve in his craft by portraying dramatic stories like in Hyannis (Kieran), absurd and comedic stories like in Red Demon (Tombi) and The Importance of Being Earnest (Algernon Moncreiff), and Shakespearean stories like in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Nick Bottom) and The Winter’s Tale (The Clown). When he’s not acting, he’s creating stories as a playwright and submitting to festivals.
