Free paints a picture of life in ancient Greece filled with lots of modern problems: failed marriages, betrayal, lost children, difficult in-laws, and discontented workers. Clever slaves scheme to be free, a lost baby is adopted and fought over, a young wife tries to win back an her alienated husband, an angry father wants to break up his daughter's marriage all the while young men trying to have a really good party.
