Desean Terry is an actor and director, known for his role on the Apple TV+ drama, The Morning Show.
While attending Loyola Marymount University, Desean started working in film by landing a lead role in the award winning independent film God's Army. After LMU, he immediately went on to study at The Juilliard School in New York. After graduating, Desean resumed his film career and started working in television and theatre. He began working Off-Broadway in Lynn Notage's (Pulitzer Prize winning author) play, Stones Throw, opposite Tracie Thoms. Regionally he has worked at the Guthrie, the Penumbra theatre in St. Paul. Since returning to Los Angeles he's recurred on the television shows Southland and Sleeper Cell, and has done guest spots on numerous television shows including Shameless, ER, NCIS: Los Angeles, Harry's Law, House, Monk, Grey's Anatomy, and the NBC television show Night Shift.
He completed a run of A Midsummer Night's Dream with Shakespeare Center Los Angles, directed by Royal Shakespeare Company member, Kenn Saberton. In Los Angeles he has also worked with Chalk Repertory Theatre, The Black Dahlia Theatre and Center Theatre Group where he recently wrapped Marco Ramirez's new play The Royale, at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, which has garnered 4 Los Angeles Ovation nominations. His past film credits include Post-Grad, On the Doll, States of Grace, and several others. You can see him in the web-series The Reason, written and directed by Lauren Snowden.
