After graduation in 2011, Devin Kasper worked with the Ghost Road Theater Company doing technical theater and helping devise a new work, the currently running The Bargain and the Butterfly. After much deliberation, he decided to move to San Francisco and automatically worked as Assistant Technical Director with FOOLSfury theater company on their new work, "Port Out Starboard Home," written by Sheila Callaghan. After a run at Z Space in San Francisco, Devin went with the company to New York City to re-stage the play in the La Mama Theater. At the same time he set designed Closer at The Exit Theater in San Francisco for Rabbit Hole Productions Theater Company.
Upon finishing these projects, Devin was hired as Technical Director/ Master Carpenter at The New Conservatory Theater Center in San Francisco. In the short time he has been with the company he has built productions for The Lisbon Traviata, The Bus, and Dear Harvey, which he also set designed. He also has built shows of children's theater as well such as Get Real and Cootie Shots.
He is next working on the shows Birds of a Feather and The Divine Sister. He feels pretty happy with where he has landed. He has business cards.
